Perhaps this is not his true heart, if we take into account that the Montserrat Mountain sits on a veritable labyrinth of tunnels and galleries, possibly many of which are still unexplored.
But ignoring the detail, there is no doubt that the place where the old foundations are laid and where the eternal ashes of abbot Oliba rest their eternal sleep, collects the influences derived from that imaginary Axis Mundi that is hidden in the deepest recesses of your insides
Later, possibly, at the time of Oliba, an original Romanesque arch recalls the old pilgrimages to the Sanctuary. A Shrine that, as is known, collects the pre-Christian virtues and graces of those venerable Black Mater, who were not only praised by genuine historical figures, such as Solomon, and devoutly venerated by unique theorists of Christianity, such as Bernard of Clairvaux, but still , after millennia, enjoy the adoration of the people, whatever their mediatic identity.
A Mater-it does not matter if the original was lost in an unfortunate accident-, bearer of a sphere that recalls, paraphrasing Ramón J. Sender (1), the diffusion of sound and light; a sphere that radiates a benefactor magnetism and that, from its singular microcosm, also reminds us of the path of the infinite: that whose movement takes place in a spiral, like that of the stars and the planets in the macrocosmic and monumental sphere of the Universe.
