The life of a beautiful flower is cut short by its greatest admirer.
Beauty extinguished by manic love and desperation.

A prickle, spine, and spur...

A thistle permits admiration from a distance.
A body emerges from the basic geometric contour of "Soul".

I was looking at Garlic's flower initially, but found it wasn't striking enough. So I browsed for a bit and found Thistle.
Soul and Vitality...
Soul is ethereal, a kind of metaphysical continuum or definitive pattern.
Soul is suspended in space by the body.
Vitality pulls the body through time.
Next is Intelligence
