Hello! My name is Karla Henriquez and I'm a venezuelan artist, I want to share my drawings, art quotes and everything that inspires me to draw, what's the meaning of the drawing and all that is about art (poetry, music, paintings). Also, I want to know what you think about it, and if you want to share any advice you are most welcome to do it.
Today, I want to talk about my favorite quote "Art is a confession"
Every time I finish a drawing, this one always has a meaning... a confession.
I call this the enlightenment, you can also interpret it as nirvana, or the act of seeing God. For me it represents a state of peace and internal balance that in many doctrines or religions can be reached through meditation, but everyone has his way to reach his state of enlightenment.
The white body represents the pure soul of the person, and the colorful body but at the same time with black and white fragments represents the whole universe that we create, our perspective of life, our thoughts, feelings and even our internal chaos. But something that you can realize is that pure white goes deeper and deeper into the person, thus becoming a new being.

¡Hola! Me llamo Karla Henriquez y soy una artista venezolana. Quiero compartir mis dibujos, citas de arte y todo lo que me inspira a dibujar, cuál es el significado del dibujo y todo lo relacionado con el arte (poesía, música, pinturas). Además, quiero saber qué piensa al respecto, y si desea compartir algún consejo, le invito a que lo haga.
Hoy quiero hablar de mi cita favorita "El arte es una confesión"
Cada vez que termino un dibujo, este siempre tiene un significado ... una confesión.
Llamo a esto la iluminación, también puedes interpretarlo como nirvana, o el acto de ver a Dios. Para mí, representa un estado de paz y equilibrio interno que en muchas doctrinas o religiones se puede alcanzar a través de la meditación, pero todos tienen su camino para alcanzar su estado de iluminación.
El cuerpo blanco representa el alma pura de la persona, y el cuerpo colorido, pero al mismo tiempo con fragmentos en blanco y negro representa el universo entero que creamos, nuestra perspectiva de la vida, nuestros pensamientos, sentimientos e incluso nuestro caos interno. Pero algo de lo que puedes darte cuenta es que el blanco puro se adentra cada vez más en la persona, convirtiéndose así en un nuevo ser.
