I am not really that fit right now, so all my many duties are not being fulfilled. Instead I have given myself some time off - So today I'll only be posting some old digital drawings.
This post will be two Krakens... the monster that I had in an ornament in my last post.
The Kraken is a legendary sea-monster described by the Danish-Norwegian Bishop of Bergen, Erik Pontoppidan, from whom we have inherited a lot of the crazy imagination surrounding the creature.
It was also used (as you will be able to read in my previous post) by the Victorian poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson, and it was from his poem that the legendary pulp-writer H.P.Lovecraft got the idea for his monster: Cthulhu.
As noticed in the comments to my last post, there is a cryptocoin exchange in San Fransisco that is named after the Kraken. Funny to have an exchange named after a gruesome monster, but I guess that ist show how little fear we have of nature in these times. I have not tried it yet, but if I am to be a crypto-investor I better try out the different possibilities.
I have also written a story to a kind of e-mail roleplaying game where the Kraken plays an important part. I might post here on Steemit, but it does need a look over before I do - and as stated above I am a bit unable to do much today.
Both my own drawings are creative commons, and can be used under the license CC-by.
