Bachelorette Party - Part 1: I arted ❤
This will be a 3 part series because there are simply to many photos and too much information to put into one post.
The Roadtrip
We traveled nearly 150 miles to a Bachelorette Party in Utica, MI. There were 9 of us in total traveling in two vehicles. Traffic on I-75 was super chaotic and downright scary. We got bumped, essentially sideswiped. The vehicle just barely made contact, it was enough to push us over though. We were going over 70 mph and ended up veering towards the median to avoid careening into the 20 other cars all around us. Our driver reacted quickly, we all were luckily not injured, the vehicle got scratched, but it could have been way worse.
Painting Sensations
This was a new experience for me, I have not painted in since college, and I have never pained while drinking wine. Perfect start to the party. Relaxing and it helped me let my creativity flow.
The blank canvas and the half way point. There was a wine bar a couple stores down, and they sold bottles of wine and chaos cider in a can. While the paint dried we went and got us some.
The ones on the left were the inspiration pieces, essentially the business owner stands at the front and teaches you how to recreate a painting. I never was very good at staying in the lines. It was nice to loosely follow a template though, I want to take the kids to do it. They also had ceramic pieces you could paint and the option to do mosaic art.
So much art everywhere, it was a therapeutic start to the adventure.
Stay Tuned for Part 2.
