Moving forward, bit by bit.
I really enjoyed sketching and inking these; however, I feel uncertain about the final results. I was aiming for more exotic dragons, but I feel that they are missing color and some proportions are off.
I started shading with a Promaker, but remembered on time to snap a picture. My sketches are relatively rough, aiming for a more flowing design and some happy accidents. There are times when I define every detail with a pencil before inking.
Dragoiton
"Sometimes confused for Cockatrice, but Dragoiton doesn't have wings and isn't deadly. It can grow only up to 30 cm and can be easily grabbed. However, do not grab them as their pecks are very painful."
This design is a simple crossover of birds and eastern wingless dragons.
Raupon
"A very proud creature, reacts friendly to those who bow to it. Never attempt to pluck any of its feathers, as Draupons never forget."
For the second dragon I challenged myself to make a different tail from usual pointy lizard tail. Peacocks tail came first to mind, because of its length, mesmerizing pattern and colors.
Here I didn't worry about the anatomy but rather the overall impression of the dragon. I really like the fancy tail so I will retry the design on a bigger paper with more realistic anatomy; and add maybe add some watercolors ... :D

The cutie
I would love to try drawing my own simple dragons comic, but my storytelling skill are unrefined. If you would like me to start one, suggestions are welcome :)
