First of all i want to introduce myself. My name is Andrea and I am an artist. I was born in Rijeka (Croatia) in 1986 and living in Graz (Austria) since 2000. I work as a freelance artist and illustrator and have, until now, had solo and group exhibitions in Austria (Graz, Vienna, Leoben), Italy (Cremona) as well as in Switzerland (Lucerne). Now I find myself at the point where I ask myself „what`s next?“.
To tell you something about my work…My repertoire ranges from digital to analog illustration - pure painting to sculptural artwork. With relief-like forms of representation, I often focus on tactile perception of the viewer. As a method of work, I often choos to experiment with different materials, especially reusing the non-recyclable ones. By cleverly playing with the third dimension I try to create artworks with an additional depth in order to give the viewer the opportunity to change his „perspective“. My initial works comprised naive depictions of landscape and architecture!
