The Empress holds the power over the material world.
There’s neither deep darkness or mystery enveloping her, the composition in its complexity is symbolically orchestrated around three key elements:
the crown, being indication of her earthly power;
the scepter, as the embodiment of the Earth spirit;
the shield, like emblematic symbol of conscious realm.
The Empress conceptual meanings are opposite to The High Priestess, she guards no secret.
The Empress and the card № 4, The Emperor complete and mirror of each other.
