경복궁 서쪽, 청운동 경복고등학교와 청운중학교를 지나 고개를 넘으면 그 위에 카페 하나가 나옵니다.

부암동에서도 제가 제일 좋아하는 곳입니다. 커피 한 잔을 마시며, 콘티를 짜는 순간이 아마도 제가 제일 좋아하는 순간들 중 하나일 거에요. (라고 세뇌하죠)
It is my favorite place in Buam-dong. The moment I drink a cup of coffee and draw a cartoon script is probably one of my favorite moments.

1990년 대학로에 처음 문을 연 클럽 에스프레소는 2001년 부암동으로 자리를 옮겼습니다. 그런 역사(?)까지는 저도 잘 모르고, 제가 아는 건 오직 부암동에 있는 클럽 에스프레소입니다. 문을 열 때 스물 세 살이었던 대표는 이제 쉰을 넘은 나이가 되었습니다. 이곳을 처음 왔을 때 이십대였던 제가 오십대가 되어서도 찾을 수 있는 곳이면 좋겠습니다.
Club Espresso, which first opened in Daehangno in 1990, moved to Buam-dong in 2001.All I know is club espresso in Buam-dong. When he opened his first café, he was twenty-three years old and now over fifty. I visited this place for the first time in my twenties, and I want to come here often even when I am in my fifties.

이곳은 부끄럽지만 저의 그림 인생(?)이 시작 됐던 곳이기도 합니다. 4년전, 지금의 저와 마찬가지로 이곳을 참 좋아했던 제가 그린 그림도 함께 올립니다.
