Hey everyone! Back again with some more of my digital sketches, some still in black-and-white and others in color.
Sketches like these where I'm at my most artistically free as I don't have to worry so much about how tight or finished the painting should be. It's really liberating, sometimes.
This was for a color palette challenge, where we have a limited amount of colors to work with. It's a good challenge, really!
A monochromatic sketch of Venom Snake from Metal Gear Solid V.
A little bit of color goes a long way to help make the whole thing pop.
And last but not least, another b&w sketch.
You can tell I really like to use that grungy brush for the background, as it leaves some really nice trail of brushstrokes behind, and helps to finish the sketch.
Well that's about it for sketches thus far. Going forward, I'll be sharing some of my more finished artworks in the future because that's by and large the gist of my portfolio, really. I'm more fine-tuned to doing finished illustrations, mostly for my own portfolio or for client works.
Stay tuned for more soon!
