This is a portrait of a child with a rare disease. This piece is being installed in the Rochester Art Center, in Minnesota. It is part of the Beyond the Diagnosis Art Exhibit which is part of a massive exhibit that includes the Mayo Clinic and the Smithsonian. I am super excited. The art exhibit is filled with portraits of kids with rare diseases, and they are painted by various artists from all over the world. This is one of the portraits I made for the exhibit. It was painted with brushes and syringes ! These are great tools to use while painting in the style of pointillsm.
