I'm a slow painter, I take lots of time to work through ideas and dream content which is why I am always working on 10 to 12 at a time.
This is a little storyline that came to me via a ponder one afternoon and it's been in many phases. Because I was trained in classical realism I tend to start there and then deconstruct into a more expressive form as I get closer to being finished. This piece is starting to find life with each sloppy layer of paint as I push further away from a likeness of life.
