Feel welcome here, fellow Steemian!
Earlier, I showed you another dragon cutie, and I already told you I got inspired by other fantasy/mythological stuff (like this Peryton, or this Stymphanian bird), so let's get on with more of the same!
After the Horsey Dragon, I made more dragonish-creatures, with a clear reference to an existing animal. In this case a barn owl.
In Dutch, we call this bird a Kerkuil, which means as much as Church Owl. I think it referres to the fact they build their nests in huge rooms like churches and barns. Once I saw one in a barn in Germany, when I was together with my dad. Below the ridge of the roof we saw this angelic, white bird, hiding from day-active creatures. It sure was a lovely encounter.
Thanks for visiting, I hope you like it and come by another time!
