The Vagabonds is an interactive game here on steemit, based on my original paintings.
Welcome to the final, we made it all the way through!
The first phase consisted of 8 unique characters being presented, and in it, you determined each character's unique Name, their very randomized positive as well as negative trait and their unique weapon/artifact/superpower.
In the second phase, the eight fictional Vagabonds were set up against eachother in fictional one-on-one contests/games/battles, ... also chosen by you! The dices randomly chose a new game for every match - the suggestions that were made were great, so thanks for that! The outcome of every fictional contest is also interactive: I present the characters and the contest, and you can comment on how you see this particular contest turn out, and who wins in your scenario.
So, after four Quarter-Finals, and Two Semi-Finals, we have reached the Final contest of the Vagabonds! This is it, read on to see who's in the final, what game will be played and make a comment, writing a scenario on who you think becomes the The Grand Vagabond Winner!
But first, how did the second Semi-Final turn out?
Once again, three great writers sharpened their pencils/keyboards, constructed clever and witty plots and scenario's and gave each in their own way a unique literary account of the last Semi-Final: thank you very much,
,
and
for being so committed! Once again, 0.4 sbd (1.2 sbd total prize-money divided by three) is coming your way, thank you!
's approach -to me at least- seems to be the more character-driven one: building believable characters from the personalities and positive and negative traits provided in phase 1. And then letting them loose in a strange, misty Niflheim-world. It works, it's awesome!
I feel (once again - my opinion)
uses a different approach, one where he conjures up a world, constructed from input he receives, and then inserts the characters in a more plot-driven story. That's how it feels to me, I may be completely wrong. And that would even be okay!
has really grown in this contest - from the proverbial paragraph in the Quarter-Finals, he now writes short novels here on steemit, and they're becoming better and better. Sure, the google®™©-translator has difficulties translating his Indonesian poetry to English, but I'm getting the feeling he's quite enjoying the writing.
So we have three strong entries. Two have Mutia as the winner, one has Droopy as the winner. You know what's coming. The dice.
Winner of the bragging rights (T B R?) for this episode is...
Droopy breaks down unstoppably and succombs to his own apologetic behaviour. Mutia stands stronger than ever after an experience beyond known realities:wins, congrats! Mutia is our second Finalist!
Which means: anything goes, all is possible! Make a comment describing how this match turns out. Go wild, go nuts, most of all: go original!
Just remember: There can be only one Grand Vagabond!
Well, of course there can be two -or even more- it wouldn't be very Vagabondish if I weren't to allow that happening!
How will this end? I have no idea... It's in your hands now! Make it a Grand Final, make it a Grand Vagabond, and have fun!
