Intro

Hello, this is my first post on Steemit.... I'm now following cryptocurrencies for a few years, I'm very curious about their adoption and diffusion. I'll experiment a bit and see how this ecosystem works. The idea is very interesting and it seems the platform is gaining some traction.... Maybe it could also be a way to help my art becoming economically sustainable? That's something I'm struggling for quite some time now... for example I'm also on Patreon (very few followers, not really working) and on most common social platforms....

What I do

So, as you can probably guess from the below image, I'm mainly using digital photography, photomanipulation and digital painting, but some of my works are 3D graphics and animations. 3D it's also something I mainly do as a freelancer, so I try to differentiate a bit my art production and experiment in verious directions.... I currently have some projects related to 360 photography and videos and VR in general (both realtime and pre-rendered ).

For now I'll be publishing some images you'll also find on my website/blog (you can find some proof it's me on MatericLook "about" page if you want to check).

...but let's stop talking about me and let's see if I can show something interesting, maybe I can also give a hand with some info or advice, mainly related to computer graphics and technical stuff, I guess ;-)

Blockchain consideration and authenticity

One thing that I was thinking about while reading the Steemit introduction: for textual data it should already be possible to use the blockchain data as proof of authorship... What about the current status of blockchain-based attribution systems for images? Mediachain attribution engine seems down. Is there anyone with some experience or info in this direction?
