We have an old pedestrian bridge near our house that connects one side of the river with the other. Years ago, it would have carried large steam locomotives like this.
Here's a painting I did, a 3' x 5,' acrylic on hardboard that shows the old locomotive, the iconic iron horse, rumbling down the tracks, with a fury of steam trailing behind it.
This painting currently lives at the JAMF Software building in downtown Eau Claire, just beyond this bridge, in it's own room called, "Steam." I titled this painting "Coming of Age," because the railroad industry was the modern innovation of it's day, connecting distant communities together, bringing in unprecedented communication. A city that was connected by rail could be said to have "arrived" and could expect to grow rapidly.
I think that is what may be in store for STEEM and Steemit as unencumbered communication via the blockchain picks up speed and creates rapid growth in the communities connected by it.
Have a blessed and prosperous day,
