Hello,
Today I am sharing my latest watercolor project.
This one as well as my last watercolor attempt has been longer projects than I am used to in this medium.
That being said I think it is a way of going about it that allows for some much needed reflection in between the layers.
I still think this portrait needs one more session, maybe two, to find more layers and temperature differences, but I felt like sharing my process so far anyways.
Here are some photos;
The portrait is a little bit bigger than an A5. this time I used a different kind of paper which is a bit rougher that I quite like. It is a 300 gsm from Daler Rowney. My paints are still the same thou, the 12 color palette from Gansai Tambi. I am just so in love with those colors!
When I am done I'll post the finished result! :)
Hope you're all having a good start to the week!
