I took the ever-popular paper cutout of children
dancing in a circle, and made it into a glass artwork such as this.

This came to be as I used fine glass frits and
adopted the Pate de Verre technique, or the method of using glass powder and
carefully placing it in a mould to achieve a desired figure or shape.

The outer circle was made using the same technique.
But since it’s not three-dimensional, its mould was much simpler to create.
