I know I said I wasn't going to post gifs anymore, but it's a lot faster than uploading a video to youtube, and what I noticed was that the youtube videos still looked compressed anyway. This image doesn't have much color so the compression didn't wreck it too bad.
So this is just a quick experiment I made. It's made by animating several layers of subdivision on the faces of a sphere. Then the shader basically makes it glow inside the cracks. Blah, blah, hope you like it.
Anyway, Steem won on Netcoins! Woohoo! I knew INS was cheating. I'm actually surprised they even came in 3rd. I've at least heard of PAC coin, but whatever nobody cares about 3rd place anyway.
So to be honest, I don't think most of us knew anything about Netcoins before this contest, and I doubt that a listing on there is going to dramatically affect price, at least not in the short term. The thing I'm actually more excited about is how we came together and got this done. We have power here. The ability to galvanize thousands of people and get them to do ANYTHING is extremely powerful, and bodes well for the future of this blockchain.
Of course if we get some positive price action that would be great too, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I don't think we are going to see any big moves unless the entire market moves, so try not to be disappointed if there's no immediate effect. This was overall a very positive demonstration.
Back to some art. Here's a few frames of this at full res.
And here's what it looks like in Cinema
Thanks for looking peeps. Remember, with great power, comes great responsibility!
