Danny, 2018
You've been #blinddrawn . Congratulations! I love your photography and think that this will make a stellar series.
My Painting
So far, the most rewarding projects for me are the ones in collaboration with other Steemians. I get a rise out of painting people I don't know and creating a story around it. I also think that the surprise and element of how one will react to a painting of them or a close friend is something that's priceless. Steemians create art, and I try to create art of art.

Naming Process
I decided to take a path to give the boy a name. Though he isn't scary like Danny can be in the Shining. I thought that this could be a good fit for a name and he has a similar haircut. This boy looks less troubled and more happy than Danny (thankfully). I love that with any black and white photo you can imagine the entirety of color, texture, context, and story. It makes it easier to color in the blacks so-to-speak.

Whisper Update!
Many of you have seen the #whisper series by a collaborative of artists. We will be posting the typical Monday update either tomorrow or Wednesday due to scheduling conflicts. Keep your eyes peeled for the magnificent work of in the series.
Who am I?
I am an artist who finds portrait photographs of people on social media, paints them, and posts it. I love the reactions and surprises that it gives people. I think there's a sense of self-esteem boost when someone is painted (even when there are mistakes or it doesn't look identical to them). The goal of my art is to surprise and spread love.
