You've been #blinddrawn !
The Painting
This was a different challenge to do it within 5 minutes, using a different tool than usual. I used a digital oil paint blending tool on the iPad. It was able to get this really edgy neat contrasted texture that I think suited a version of this photo nicely. It was challenging to have only 5 minutes to decided the most important elements. Please check out the video for more details about what came in what order.
I want to note that none of my art is traced, which is why it's difficult to have animated gifs of before and after paintings. But because of this they are all 100% original.
Original Photo
This is a great photography by . I love the warm light and contrasting tones. Was a fun challenge and hope everyone can go give
some love!
To see Steemians start to post this photography work and it be at a new level of quality is just amazing. Because of this, I've been able to transition a lot of my photo finds from Instagram to Steemit. Not 100% yet, but perhaps I will make it a challenge next month to do 100% Steemit exclusive finds and creations. I love surprising people and it's been a wonderful community so far to be a participant in the arts.

Comparison Transition
Here's a transition gif to just experiment with how it might compare to the original.
Who am I?
I am an artist who finds portrait photographs of people on social media, paints them, and posts it. I love the reactions and surprises that it gives people. I think there's a sense of self-esteem boost when someone is painted (even when there are mistakes or it doesn't look identical to them). The goal of my art is to surprise and spread love.
