In this post you can see the ink illustration 'Ions' that I created for Chapter Forty-Five of 's amazing novel Dwelling, a crime novel set in New York’s Lower East Side.
Crossing the hall and unlocking Mioko's second dwelling, they pulled back the inky curtains, letting daylight spill into the darkroom for the first time in years.

Splatter, splash, spray!
The residual silver ion particles lining the countertops and floors-remnants from thousands of sheets of photographic paper-were suddenly energized, transforming back to atoms and creating a galaxy of imperceptible black pinpoints.
