In this post you can see the illustration 'Watch' that I created for Chapter Thirty Nine of 's amazing novel Dwelling.
He walked along the rows of buckets, the familiar smells of plant life all around him. He reached out and touched some fresh mint, the smell intoxicating.

Creating an illustration for Dwelling
The drawing was sketched out lightly on the paper in pencil, then washes of ink and water were applied to create a subtle build up of tones . Then wax was applied to areas I wanted to keep white before heavier brush marks were added using an acrylic ink.
But rube caught the glint of his watch.
Time to get on with this shit.
