A warm hug friends artists, this week I made an intensive course of painting techniques COREL PAINTER X ADVANCED, although it is old I have learned several new things like deepen the lights, in the same way I learned how to download new textures from the web. The course consisted of choosing a module then painting following the instructions in order to achieve a precision with respect to the guide image. My result was a 7/10 score that I'm satisfied with. Lo primero que haremos es crear un lienzo para proceder a realizar nuestro boceto, en el primer volumen te explique como configurar el lienzo, hacemos clik en NEW.
When doing my sketch I had to have two aspects present, the first is to create a sketch not too big to execute the processes of the tutorial, another aspect to take into account was to study a little the anatomy of the octopus and squid to be able to make this monster because I did not know how to make the tentacles and eyes.
Al realizar mi boceto tuve que tener dos aspectos presentes el primero es: crear una boceto no muy grande para poder ejecutar los procesos del tutorial, otro aspecto a tomar en cuenta fue estudiar un poco la anatomía del pulpo y calamar para poder hacer este monstruo porque no sabia como realizar los tentáculos y ojos.
PAINTING WITH CHALK / PINTANDO CON TIZAS
Here a quick video of my painting, I like to vary because every time I paint something new I feel that I must say the same thing over and over again since my painting method is the same, that's why I think the best way to express something different It is with videos.
Aquí un vídeo rápido de mi pintura, me gusta variar porque cada ves que pinto algo nuevo siento que debo decir lo mismo una y otra ves ya que mi método de pintura es el mismo, por eso me parece que la mejor manera de expresar algo diferente es con video.
PAINTING WITH OILS / PINTANDO CON ACEITES

Sin los aceites la pintura es granulada y borrosa carece de definiciones en sus lineas y le falta opacidad, con los oils se puede mejorar todos estos aspectos en la pintura, la mayoría de los artistas combinan las tizas con los aceites por que su mezcla da una tonalidad única en las pinturas, y por supuesto un realismo tremendo.

CONFIGURING THE LIGHT / CONFIGURANDO LA LUZ
In this painting light is very important to highlight the texture of the skin of our aquatic animal, before mentioning that one should study a little what you want to paint and more when you paint for the first time, if the animal is aquatic the skin should show this message, so use two reflectors one skin color and another blue to highlight the tonalities of our painting.
En esta pintura la luz es muy importante para poder resaltar la textura de la piel de nuestro animal acuatico, antes mencionaba que uno debe estudiar un poco lo que desea pintar y mas cuando se pinta por primera ves, si el animal es acuático la piel debe mostrar dicho mensaje, por ello utilice dos reflectores uno color piel y otro azul para resaltar las tonalidades de nuestra pintura.
