Horror movies have always fascinated me, movies like Resident Evil, Silent Hill are inspirations for me because of the terrifying characters that appear in them, my art stands out for being mysterious, strange and terrifying and today I give my all with my brushes to give you something magnificent and terrifying, enjoy the painting process.

There are four brushes I use in this painting, pastel chalk, oils, diffuser and texture. Son cuatro los pinceles que utilice en esta pintura, la tiza pastel, el oils, difuminador y textura.

WE START / COMENCEMOS

The first thing we will do is create a canvas to proceed to make our sketch, in the first volume I will explain how to configure the canvas, click on NEW.

Lo primero que haremos es crear un lienzo para proceder a realizar nuestro boceto, en el primer volumen te explique como configurar el lienzo, hacemos clik en NEW.

PAINTING WITH CHALKS / PINTANDO CON TIZAS

The first thing I did as all my paintings is to select the pastel chalks and start filling my sketch with the previously selected colors of my palette.

Lo primero que hice como todas mis pinturas es seleccionar las tizas pasteles y empezar a rellenar mi boceto con los colores previamente seleccionados de mi paleta.

OILS APPLICATION / APLICACIÓN DE OILS

After a few hours of painting with the chalks I select the brush oils, and I proceed to paint over the strokes of the chalk finally I apply the textures that are very important for the finishing of the paintings.

Luego de unas horas de pintura con las tizas selecciono el pincel oils, y procedo a pintar encima de los trazos de las tizas por ultimo aplico las texturas que son muy importante para el acabado de las pinturas.

An enlarged image can show the details that occur when oils and textures are applied to the paint.

Una imagen ampliada puede mostrar los detalles que se producen cuando se aplica los aceites y las texturas a la pintura.

I always emphasize the importance of textures in paintings, textures give us a realistic vision, because they break a plane where light is difficult to reflect, here I show you several textures used for this macabre painting.

The light was configured with a white reflector that is projected from the back of the head of our zombie.

La luz fue configurada con un reflector blanco que se proyecta desde la parte posterior de la cabeza de nuestro zombie.

WHERE DOES MY INSPIRATION COME FROM? / DE DONDE VIENE MI INSPIRACIÓN

I always highlight in my post where I am inspired to paint such strange things but they have a logic in what I express and well the plastic artist and designer has heard about faceoff and it is here where I am inspired, I do not miss a chapter.

For this painting I was inspired by Doctor Birkin of Resident Evil, that typical mutant monster that deforms his body with an experiment.

Para esta pintura me inspire en el doctor birkin de resident evil, ese tipico monstruo mutante que deforma su cuerpo con un experimento.
