Hey everyone! I recently posted a photo of my most popular completed painting this year. I thought I would go back in and share some progress photos of that painting.
This space jellyfish is one of my showcases and I’m excited to show you my process with it!
First, creating the main “swoops” of the nebulas and the inner layer of the top of the jellyfish.
Next, beginning to add the smaller thinner tentacles, these took soooooo long to paint!! I also blocked out my planets.
Next, adding the transparent cap to the top of the jelly, finishing the thin tentacles, and starting to color planets.
Finally! Adding the stars and all of the “glow” is always my last step. Here’s where I make it sparkle!!
