Hello everyone!! today I came here to show you a very old drawing I made in 2009..! It's one of my favorites portrait because when I made it I remember that I was eighteen and i was in art school and I really needed to make something good to show it the next day because there was like a final task , and didn't know what to do! i tried something with contemporary a couple of time but nothing were good enough --
Then i decided to make a portrait of one of my favorites artists by the moment, Picasso. I know it isn't my best portrait but, I put all my effort on it and I spent the whole night drawing..!
When I was younger I used to read about artists biographies and techniques and I still do it of course, but i know in that moment in 2009, Picasso was very impressive to me because Since he was a kid he shows an incredible talent to represent reality, but he decided to create something else in his own way and till now we recognize his work when we see it.
To make this portrait i used graphite pencil, and marker on paper
