This building is entirely encapsulated in color. On top of being one of the most colorful, cool buildings I've ever seen, it serves as the home for a really cool initiative called Working Classroom.
What started as an effort to get handmade books to those in need, developing literacy for both those who created and those who read them, eventually spiraled into this art collective that aims to cultivate creativity as well as civic responsibility in young people.
Inside of this beautiful building, urban youth preform plays that they have directed, written, and built the sets for. It also serves as place to learn new media skills, like graphic design. They also have programs for street art installations throughout the city and it acts as a safe haven for young people to go to create.
