Hey, just wanted to share with you another digital drawing which is done on my new iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, it's quite a device, and pencil pretty cool to. So I decided to do a first sketch which is tribute to amazon series-Outlander. And tried to do a highlander, below is the process.
So I started to block out main idea of the drawing.
I had quite a challenge with legs, as I could not decide on the final pose, even tried to hide legs behind shield, but it still didn't look right.
I added some colour to the head, hair,moustache and hat, to give it a bit of character and ended up tweaking body angle a bit.
Finally I came up with a rough idea of leg position, and I think it works fine.
After more shading , tweaking, and trying different things, I ended up with the drawing below,
of course it's not finished result but it s a good test of my new toy, and I love it.
I'm hoping to bring more drawings out to you. And hopefully I'll try to take photos in between to track progress.
