In this post, I wanted to relive one of the most incredible moments of Dragon Ball Z, where Gohan, the son of Goku, defeats the powerful Cell, and saves the planet.
One of the most exciting moments of the Dragon Ball Z saga, is the episode where the Cell launches a Kamehameha, which Gohan responds with another, and begins an intense duel of power. This is the third drawing of my Dragon Ball special with everyday objects. I hope you like it
Now I will show you the process of the drawings. I had to do them separately to achieve the desired result.
Cell
Recall that Cell, had to absorb the androids 17 and 18 to achieve his perfect body. This powerful warrior was created by Dr. Maki Gero, who added to Cell's body the cells of most of the characters in the story, thus providing him with a large number of abilities and powers. Although it is one of my favorite characters in the Dragon Ball saga, I had never drawn it. But I wanted to dedicate the necessary time to make a good drawing.
For the drawing of Cell, I began by drawing the sketch in an attack position, and reflecting on his face a combat expression. Next, I started with shading the head and arms paying attention to the position of the light to achieve a good depth effect.
I went adding the characteristic spots of Cell, I continued drawing the shadows according to the perspective of the light in the torso and in the legs, until filling the wings and finishing.
Gohan
The mighty warrior to whom Goku entrusted the fate of the earth. Gohan had already had important participations in other battles, such as in the battle against Vegueta, and against the evil Freezer. But this fight against Cell, would be the one that would make us remember forever
Gohan's drawing had less detail than Cell's, but his face had a greater degree of difficulty. Therefore, when making the sketch in attack position, I drew on the face the guidelines for the eyes and nose, to achieve the symmetry of the features. Then I could continue with the hair shading.
I continued with the shading on the rest of the body, and finally I highlighted the lines to give strength to the drawing.
After making the drawings, I cut the strips of the CD with scissors, and I placed them so that it seems that the characters are throwing a kamehameha. In the next GIF you will see how the strips were placed.
I applied the same process with the drawing of Cell
Finally, I added a CD between the two drawings, and this is the result.
Materials
-Paper.
-Pencil.
-Draft.
-scissors.
-2 CDs
It was a meticulous work, it took me 2 days to make the drawings and prepare the post. But I've loved the result. What do you think? I would like to read your opinion about it. You can support me with your vote if you liked it. Health for all and all.
Thank you
