One of my favourite artist goes by the name of Slinkachu (I am still trying to work out if this is his real name), and he is known for street art that combines his unique sense of humour, creativity and perspective on modern life. If you haven't seen his work, I highly encourage it: https://slinkachu.com/
Before I discovered his work (by walking through the bookshop at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney), I was already interested in miniature terrariums (I guess that just goes with my interest in miniature origami).

What I like about miniature terrariums is how it forces us to take a real close look at thing that might seem trivial, and rewards you with a glimpse of true beauty and wonder that is normally hidden.
It also reinforced the idea that we live in a connected world and that our actions create an impact to everyone else. I think in a way Slinkachu is also spreading a similar message with his artwork.
