Our eyes have their own vocabulary, what a wonderful language to learn!
Doodle time,
I found a few free hours today and sat down to make a drawing in a doodle style! When I draw I like to doodle and at time my doodles turn into a massive HUGE BIG drawing that keeps me busy for days in a row! This one is made in 4 hours! That is for the sketching and the black linings. The digital work added some extra spice today....
I don't curse often but today I found myself screaming at my laptop and I swear for a brief moment I heard it scream back at me in laptopish blasphemy! In other words my laptop flipped me the well know finger and looked at me with that provocative blinking curser wink before it fell asleep...... Okay... When you do things on your laptop you need to plug it in! And this is the end of that discussion!
Here you see the end result of the hand drawn piece!
I used a normal pencil to sketch and a black marker and fine liner for the lines.
As always I will show the progress pictures of the drawing at the end of my post!
While I am going to keep the original drawing in black and white again, I wanted to see this one in color as well! How marvelous is the Digital world these days! With so many apps and options you can be busy for months and not see everything that is possible! I was looking into to buying Photoshop BUT.... What the heck ... So expensive and I still need to buy more extra filters. Not that I don't find it worth it but... I guess I am not informed enough on prices these days!
After the discussion we shall no longer mention I was able to become friends with my laptop again and I could start to add colors.
Here are 4 different outcomes of the same drawing.
Which one do you like most?
Do you prefer Digital art or hand drawn?
Let me know your opinion because it's much appreciated!
I feel like doing some more drawing today so I might spend some more time on that while sipping from the coffee that is now calling my name in the kitchen.
Here are the progress pictures of the drawing.
