There are a bunch of badges on his overcoat that I need to investigate. The details may be too small to read on each one, but I'm all about research and accuracy. In my mind, if I don't draw him accurately or make up the details because I don't have a clear reference for a particular prop on him, then it's not Data. Often times, the research takes up more time than the actual drawing...

Then I can arrange all the characters side by side and tweak them accordingly--finding the balance. Drop by again tomorrow.
