Hello my dear friends, followers and guests of my blog!
Today I try to draw a rose on a dark background with dew drops.
In this picture, I'm interested in several things:
• make a drawing of the rose from the most illuminated parts to complete dissolution in the background, keeping the shape and volume of the flower;
• Look at the activity of white on the multi-layered parts of the drawing;
• Play a little bit with a realistic image.
That's what I'm doing the main thing in my work.
As a result, I got this drawing:
Step-by-step drawing process
As always, first I draw a future rose in pencil.
It is important to understand what kind of petal goes where. Often I miss this stage, and further in the process of drawing I start to get confused, that from where it grows. So it's better to solve this initially.
Then I put the main color:
I determine where the light comes from and what parts of the flower fall into the illuminated areas.
I schedule future drops:
I add a little warm red shade to the rose petals:
I compact the texture of the rose, I highlight the lighted parts. It was at this stage that the pencil began to slip in some places and I realized that I was approaching the finale :)
I make light accents and glare on the flower, I paint drops:
I add the leaves around :
In the leaves, I slightly indicate the details and form.
Everything, the drawing of the roses is ready!
I hope you like it!
