Sort of new. Actually, it's a redo. If I can remember to post the pre-edit tomorrow, I will. It was a painting I did about three years ago, after receiving a disk of picture files that my mum had had digitized from her collection of family photos dating back to the earliest days of photography.
Of course, there wasn't anyone in the chair in the actual photo, let alone a lizard man. And she's probably a ghost now, whoever this was in my family line, but in the picture, well. Make an assumption.
Decided to incorporate my mosaic style that I've come up with recently, and also, used one of my vacation photos for the face of the lizard man. Pretty happy about how far I've come as a painter.
24x36" Acrylic on canvas. Value of 1250 cdn.
