This is a diagram and color study for an upcoming painting, exploring the relationship of the various “chakras” or energy centers which are part of our human “octave”.
Each ROYGBIV color represents a layer of reality, and the layers interact like gears or nested vortices, mutually affecting the behavior or experience at each level of reality.
In this diagram, it is evident how the turqoise energy center (communication/throat) nests within the cleft created by the red (physical) energy center, and how the green (heart/unconditional love) center relates in that arrangement.
This diagram explores some interesting relationships between Orange (mammalian emotions) and what i call the “higher faculties” of perception, the Indigo (brow/insight) energy center along with the Violet (crown/divine connection) center, all of which nest perfectly within the cleft created by the forcefield of emotion.
It means that the ability to perceive with higher vision, or insight, rests on the foundation of mammalian emotion but is also guided by divine or higher dimensional intelligence.
