First Layer Is Finished
This Picture Will Look Completely Different!

Once I apply the second layer, which will include shadows. The blue of Messi's outfit will become a dark blue/purple. I like to paint in layers, since the purple is more blue than red, my base color is cobalt blue. I will use my favorite red to make a deep purple, which is Quinacridone Red by M. Graham & Company.
Messi's face has no shadows yet once the shadows are laid done the structure of Messi's face will look just like him. Shadows really make the personality and structure pop out.
22 x 30 inches cold press 300lb cotton paper, watercolor, 2018
The third layer will include a little gouache to define the lettering on Messi's outfit. Usually my third layer consists of my shadows, details and cleaning up lines and highlights. Highlights with watercolor are brought out with shadowing, since one can't put a lighter color on top of darker colors as with oil or acrylic paintings.
Inaccessible Replies On Twitter
I started up an old account on twitter to promote my art and Steemit. I wasn't expecting replies at all since I haven't been on Twitter forever. So it was a pleasant surprise to find 3 or 4 replies on some of my favorite paintings. I used hashtags #steemit and #crypto. My account isn't very big compared to the bigger accounts here on Steemit. I felt that people like me that have made a fair amount of rewards are far more realistic when advertising making money on Steemit. So there is the reason I started posting on Twitter and found the Twitter Crypto Crypto Glitch.
First thing I did when I figured out I couldn't see my Twitter replies was search for other people who have had the same problem to make sure it wasn't an issue on my end.
What I found was a lot of crypto post as well as other political incorrect post are having the same problem. If anyone wants to take the time to investigate this issue or knows more about this please drop me a link or leave me some more data and I will continue to write about this issue.
