When the hardest metal seems to be composed of sand, when we get close enough the matter begins to cease to be compact, the limits are given by our eyes. This is an image captured with the camera of my Huawei GR3 phone in black and white mode from a steel surface. The camera's close-up and black and white mode make it visible that the metal is not completely compact. I like the way the highlights stand out according to their orientation.
