Hey Steem Crew!
Here's a necklace I made a couple of days ago. I had the design floating around in my head whilst at work so when I got home I drew up a few ideas and got straight to work.
I finished this one in one sitting which is quite rare. Usually, after a few hours working on one thing, I'll put it down for a while, perhaps overnight. Taking a break and coming back to it can help me see where things are working and where things need altering.
If you really like the look of this pendant it's up for sale on my Etsy page here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/588149160/flowing-copper-wrapped-watch-movement
I'm starting to build up a few pieces of similar style to form a new collection. Here's another one, I'm not completely happy with the shape of this one though, It's in the 'come back to it later' pile. What do you think?
I haven't got any photos of them yet but the copper Bitcoin tokens i ordered have arrived. One thing i didnt consider is their size. The coins are actually quite large so to then add wire making them into jewellery items may not be the best idea (unless I've grossly underestimated the 'massive crypto-coin pendant' market!!) So I'm thinking of making wall hangable art pieces from them, maybe framed. I instantly felt less limited with the design size this way so I think that's that.
Heres my original post on this for those who missed it: https://steemit.com/art/@robali123/cryptocoin-jewellery-plans-and-a-recently-finished-pendant
