Hello again my friends from Steemit! This is my second post, I am very grateful for the welcome. I am very happy to be here.
I am celebrating Master Hayao Miyasaki's birthday today, a great inspiration! Several of his animated films have motivated me to create my characters. My favorite movie of the Ghibli studio is Spirited Away (2001)!
I love Japanese culture and anime, sometimes I use references of their customs, history and mythology.
I show you here the process of one of my illustrations!
1.First ,This is what line art looks like before applying color:
I like Oni, masks and kimonos.
He is a flower picker taking a break with his little friend, together they see the fireflies.
2.Then I apply the flat colors (sometimes I love it just like that) These are guide colors that help make painting easier.
3.and finally I play with colors, textures and details! For this illusion I did two tests, my favorite is the second. :)
I don't usually do animation but here I worked the fireflies very subtly, I hope you like them!
The programs I used: Krita for line art and Photoshop for animation color and details
