A lavish steed
Rests in his elaborate stable
It's his home indeed
For, like a nail
Inside his hoof
He is bound to dimensions
Of a peculiar hook
Once out in the morning
And once back in at night
He dreams of being a sheep
Or a goat, whatever delights
The night seeks
It's his home indeed
This lofty keep
With hay-a-plenty
And nine lives to beat
It's a no wonder he's so sweet
Juicy syllables
Linger on my tongue
A golden spoon
My heart is won
Soon everything will unravel
And all will be undone
As a horse's lifespan
Comes to an end
Making glue for children
In an iron pan
Phishing
For gold
A steady hand
Is bold
An elaborate steed
In a lavish stable
Becomes old
