I will start with the comic, the comic belongs to Gabriel Picolo, he is a very interesting artist because of his strokes, as well as the color palette, the themes he deals with, especially that of Icarus, he also draws many characters from series such as Titans, Sex Education, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, I recommend to Picolo, both because it has works, drawings and proposals rich in beauty both in his book Icarus and the Sun, because also, it is very much worth delighting with his wonderful drawings, I leave here a drawing of his large collection of Icarus and the Sun, also his Instagram and his Facebook page in case they dare to see his works.

We went to the song, the song is called "Icarus" belongs to the group Bastille (an indie pop band from South London, England, formed in 2010) from the album "Bad Blood" Why do I recommend it? Apart from the fact that the theme of this post is Icarus itself, this also has a bit of his personal touch, each time he felt he could not do it anymore, he listened to it because I feel that song is like a song of war, beginning of his drums, by the vocalist's song, something in me moved to hear that song is still like that. I recommend it for its melody, as much for its lyrics, that I will leave it here with the link of the song, that I invite you with all my heart to listen to it and I hope you enjoy it.
Look who's digging their own grave
That is what they all say
You'll drink yourself to death
Look who makes their own bed
Lies right down within it
And what will you have left?
Out on the front doorstep
Drinking from a paper cup
You won't remember this
Living beyond your years
Acting out all their fears
You feel it in your chest
Your hands protect the flames
From the wild winds around you
Icarus is flying too close to the sun
Icarus's life, it has only just begun
It's just begun
Standing on the cliff face
Highest foe you'll ever grace
It scares me half to death
Look out to the future
But it tells you nothing
So take another breath
Your hands protect the flames
From the wild winds around you
Icarus is flying too close to the sun
Icarus's life, it has only just begun
This is how it feels to take a fall
Icarus is flying towards an early grave
You put up your defenses when you leave
You leave because you're certain
Of who you want to be
You're putting up your armor when you leave
You leave because you're certain
Of who you want to be
Icarus is flying too close to the sun
Icarus's life, it has only just begun
This is how it feels to take a fall
Icarus is flying towards an early grave
To finish, I will briefly tell you, I wanted to make this post, because I have always been attracted by the story of Icarus (I also wanted to put something I wrote about Icarus but I felt it would be much in a single post, maybe for another occasion ), talk about this song and that comic, because they are the ones that have most come to my sentimental as well as artistic vein, I wanted to show them that they could enjoy it as much or more than me.
