I'm pretty sure plein air involves actually being outside so wouldn't it be painting landscape from a reference if you can't go outside/to the actual place? ^_;

I've seen a few people doing stuff like this to be able to paint places they might not otherwise be able to visit in person to paint, seems like a great idea especially if you're not supposed to be going out :D Did you have to search long to find this view? It seemed to take you seconds in the video XD
