Alexithymia is one of the ten words I chose to write about, given to me by 
Hive account@kattiee . It means “difficulty in experiencing, expressing, and describing emotional responses.” I must admit I’d never heard of the word before yesterday! Here’s my take on it.
Messy neat rumination
bloody knuckles

always just out of reach
can they see you
hear your plea

There they sit, cross legged
Smirk, judge, raise eyebrow
Oh, they know you're there
They just don't give a fuck
Your emotions don't care
That you beg for them
You yearn for them

A battle would imply an equal chance
A fair chance
What's fair about torture
And who else will understand
