Walking in the nature I found many different feathers. Some of them have white dots, some of them have very interesting shades of colors and every feather is a great artwork of Nature! I use to collected them, because they are inspiring for my artworks and I like to watch them as a source of inspiration.
Today I worked on a new painting on the subject "feathers". I just finished this oil painting on paper (a sheet of 200 gr paper in A4 size), now it's drying and I tooks some pics to share with you ^_^
As you can see, for the background I used my handmade rubber stamp in form of cloud (one of my favorites), but in the next pic you can see the painting before I add some clouds. I love to add some stamps on the background of my artworks, I think they give an interesting texture to the piece.
I had no intention to reproduce exactly the feather, I wouldn't paint a still life piece, but just to represent their beautiful forms and colors ^_^
