As I wrote in one of my past posts, I'm working on a new project in collaboration with other Italian women artists. We are working on a series of artworks about the women who have made the history of the Art. Each of us is "matched" to an old artist and I have to paint an illustrative atwork on Angelica Kauffman, a Swiss Neoclassical painter.
I want to share with you my last study on the figure of this painter. This oil paintig on paper has the title "The fatherhood", because the relationship between Angelica and her father has positive impressed me. As in my previous sketches, the father's figure is just mentioned, a benevolent "ghost" proud of her daughter.
I want to show you some step of the working progress of this painting, I think it's always interesting to see how an artist or a creative person is working ^_^
