Here's a few more design doodles I created in Adobe Illustrator. View part 1 here https://steemit.com/art/@sketch.and.jam/design-doodling-part-1-iuqvrwgh
Here's a simple matte gray ball created only with gradients using the gradient mesh tool. To accent the gray ball I drew a curved line with a multicolor gradient. Perhaps this could be the design for a new type of bluetooth speaker.
Here's an experiment with the distort transform tool. Basically I just drew one circle then used the transform tool to make duplicates of the circle while nudging it off axis. This one kind of reminds me of a round volume knob button for some kind of music software.
Here's a couple shapes with a gradient mesh in grascale. You can almost emulate metal and plastics with gradients if you line up the highlights correctly. This one reminds me of a headlight on some kind of futuristic electric car.
Here's an experiment using multicolor gradients and tranparency blend modes. The circular elements were created using gradient meshes on a circle shape. The background shapes are rectangles with linear gradients set to an overlay blend mode. This composition reminds me of an early 90s raver techno bass flier lol.
