One of my favorite Banksy stunts: the artist set up an indiscreet booth in New York run by a random person.

No one realized it was real Banksy art and — over 7 hours — only three people bought for a total of $420. pic.twitter.com/MWGHQ4WanY
You've seen these sorts of stunts before, right?
Where top musicians or superstars go busking on busy high streets (wearing disguise) and,. shockingly, barely make a penny.
Ronaldo even did a stunt where he performed football tricks in a bustling square - and barely anyone paid any attention (until a kid started playing with him and the stunt was unveiled, much to the random kid's delight!).
Here we have a Bansky stall. Can you imagine the value of these paintings if they went to an auction house such as Christies...? Yet on this busy street, where nothing singles these works of art out as Banksy pieces means that there were just $420 of sales to three (lucky) people.
Fascinating.
What do you make of this?
