Hi people, welcome to my blog,
I'm currently continuing my art journey because I'm definitely not a beginner. But I'm not an active artist which I'm working on changing.
As a lazy artist it's really hard to actually stand up and make art. This time I decided to try my best and draw a portrait. This is one of the few portraits I appreciated the result of.
So this is the result
I'm not 100% satisfied with this BUT I say this as I'm prepared to improve alot. And I defenitely improved with this one if I check out the last portrait I made (I say this mostly because the portrait actually looks like it's my nephew)
Till this day I only made three portraits while giving it my all and this is one of them.
portrait of random cute girl I found on pinterest
I drew a random girl I found on pintrest. The first thing that is mostly wrong here is that the portrait didn't completely look like the girl I drew. The only thing I really like about this one is the CONTRAST it really made the portrait pop. I wish my nephew's portrait also had contrast but it was lacking in the picture I took of him.
This is the process of the drawing
To actually make the portrait look like my nephew I used grids. This really helped alot. BUT I also made a mistake while using the grids. I made them to visible and it looked kinda bad in person. It gave me trouble while shading also.
Anyways here's the rest of the process 🙂
I really enjoyed sharing this with everyone and I'm planning to make another portrait, maybe a self portrait, would be the first and I'm totally excited for the rest of my art journey.
Thanks for visiting have a nice day!

I love feedback🤗
