As an aspiring artist, I always want to have a work that will instantly signify my name whenever someone sees it. I've been experimenting, exploring techniques and different mediums. I become frustrated for finding inspirations for my signatured work and didn't know what kind of medium I will be using.
I am used and fond of listening to rock bands. I love looking at black colored things. I like dark stories and horror movies. I have a "Pediophobia" or fear of dolls since I was a kid. But one night, a dream came to me and changed my fear into passion. In my dream, I fell in love with a doll. Then I started to draw dolls with graphite and charcoal and I based every story and expressions of my artwork in combination of my experiences and my favorite songs.
This one, entitled "The Ghost of You" is my very first work for my on going portfolio. It was inspired by my late bestfriend who died after high school and a song of "My Chemical Romance."
